ON OLIVIER MESSIAEN’S COMPOSITIONS

The passion for music, 20th century and contemporary, make me discover the works by the great French composer Olivier Messiaen: Boulez, Stockausen, Xenakis’s master.
My interest for music, already perceptible in my previous works, took a great part in my art, in particular thanks to Messiaen’s compositions. To portray my feelings, stirred by the listening of his music, colours were not enough: I also needed to use hard materials, like fiberglass.
